Thanks for visiting our website; please take some time to get to know us! Featured below are some of the current Mudslingers teachers and members. These are by no means all of the very important people that make the studio run so seamlessly... it takes a lot of wonderful people to get the place muddy (and clean again!).

Below are some of the people you'll meet when you call us up, enroll in a class or drop by to see the action. Our job is to help you enjoy the wonders of mud. We look forward to helping you explore your own journey in clay!

John Hansen found his affinity for clay while a student at the University of Wisconsin. John has worked in theatre and business but pottery has been a constant thread in his life. He started Mudslingers in 1998 after many years of teaching in other programs. In addition to his extensive experience, John brings his infamous sense of humor to class, resulting in fun and enlightening times. His work has been exhibited in Europe and sold nationally. Check out the Classes page for opportunities to learn from John.
